So yesturday I took the kids to the movies and then we did some summer cloths shopping. Today, was especially hot and so I took the kids to run through the fountains at the Gateway in Salt Lake. I was babysitting my neighbor's kids and they came along as well. We ate icecream and then spent about 2 hours running through the water fountains. The kids were soaked through and had the best time. I enjoyed using my new camera that Vern bought for me for Mother's Day and took tons of pictures, which will be posted later because I am still learning how to do all of this new computer stuff. It was fun just to sit and watch the kids have a great time with their friends and watch them make new ones.
Vern and the older kids have been gone all week attending church camps, so I've been home with just the 3 little children.
Everyone will return home sometime Friday and Saturday, so the house will be hopping again with teenagers and busyness, but I have really enjoyed just spending time with Joshua, Grace, and Jackson. These last three little gifts have been so fun and are keeping me young even up though my body says otherwise. I can say that I honestly feel nothing but joy and happiness everyday with these caboose children, they make me laugh everyday.

We are the Rogers Family. My husband Vern and I have been married for 23 years and we are the proud parents of 7 children... Emalee, Sabree, Ryan, Jaynee, Joshua, Grace, and Jackson. We also are the parents of 2 dogs Dennis and Mia. We live in Centerville Utah and have lived in the same house for 14 years. We love Centerville and plan on staying here permanently. Our home can be noisy, busy, and lots of people coming and going, but we have alot of fun and no one who lives here can say that they are lonely.

Vern decided about 3 years ago to leave his place of employment of 20 years and go out on his own. He created Vern Rogers and Associates in honor of his dad Vern Rogers Sr. who did the very same thing 20 plus years before. This required much faith, however Vern knew it was the right thing for our family and knew that it would be okay.

I am able to stay at home and in today's economic state I have much gratitude for this opportunity.

We are grateful for our 7 amazing kids and feel so lucky to be their parents. We are far from perfect and thank our kids for their patience as we learn together how to be better tomorrow than we were today.

Well I must say that I am excited to learn a new skill... I hope to create our family history, 21st century style. Since my wonderful husband and I have been married for 23 years and have 7 children I won't get discouraged with what is not written down, I will just move forward. So welcome to the Rogers' Neighborhood and we hope you'll be our neighbor.
